About Dr. Gabriella Fried

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and New Jersey. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brandeis University, in addition to receiving my doctorate and master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University.

I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families, in various clinical settings, including private practice, outpatient clinics, college counseling centers, community mental health centers, and partial hospitalization programs. I have worked with individuals across the lifespan, with a wide range of presentations, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and relationship issues. I integrate evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-based approaches, in order to tailor my therapeutic approach to the individual needs of each client.

In taking a warm, empathetic, and individualized approach, I am able to create an environment that fosters growth and understanding. In doing so, I collaboratively work with each client to challenge maladaptive thoughts and behavioral patterns and work towards living a more present-focused, values-driven life.
